172 phase 1
I had no blower at all on any speed selection.
there was a 30fuse in engine bay box that was blown- replaced still no heater fan..
in the end I took the whole blower out and discovered a blocked drain hole & lots of water underneath, so cleaned this out and dried it all out.
i metered 12v going to the motor, wiggled the connector(red & black wires) & it would work with connector at a certain angle.
in the end I removed the motor from the housing, removed the brush springs & prised the top motor housing off. I discovered that the spade connectors for the motor are connected to two coils, and due to corrosion from sitting water this connection had failed, so all cleaned up, soldered the connections and reassembled. Quite fiddly and getting the motor housing back on was a pain, but all fixed and all it cost me was time!!
I love it when I can fix stuff for free!
Oops, maybe want to move this to another section??
