172 psh1 .... again

love it, been thinking about the tiger sealed engine mounts a while.

Will the rose jointed style dog bone mount be ok for road use though? I was thinking a damper like they fit to civics would be a better idea as it has controlled give in it

Its only a second car so no biggy! the rest of the mounts are solid !

If its too harsh ill fit the powerfelx type! But it only cost £8 so worth a punt!

Those things are the biggest POS's in the world....never bother with them.

Who's the bird? I fancy her feet.

Ben_p motorsport group Z dog bone mount is in construction as we speak too!

Take two M10 high strength rose joints,

One lenght of M10 threaded bar

and some nylock nuts and spacers etc..

Jobe done!

careful with that, M10 studding isn't high tensile (there's no such thing available) Should be able to find a long bolt with thread along it's entire length then cut the head off, headbolt for something seems a likely place to start

just ordered a 10" packet Pro Fan from SVC! £90 inc p&p with fitting kit! No Bad, blows at 1090 CFM.

get with the times, we've had those solid dogbones on mk1s for ages ;)

I'm running one on the 172!

whats happening with the old Sparco seats?

Havent posted the service books yet - been too busy at work, will get it to you asap though.

I quite liked them, hard buying seats when you dont know how comfy they are.

But just looking for seats in general.

Boght a k-tech stealth and 182 manifold link pipe,

Also bought some ss rear lines from k-tech at the same time

Just crushed and tigersealed the top one, not sure you could do the others! I've got the solid dog bone and thinking of getting a ktec group n gearbox mount

Pacet fan is here (and the fitting kit :D )

Its a 10" profan (blower) and is rated at 1090 CFM! Bagin at £90 inc P&P and the fitting kit :D

Size wise its a near perfect fit! It seems to have two tabs which need to be removed, should be easy with a hacksaw and file! Once there gone, its a perfect size (see belowe)

And it seems even the holes for the ties are in the perfect place so i dont have to mash the core!

Im super pleased!

Picked up two new lower mounts which i need to fit on the new rad (the spikes are a bit small so i need to fill it with tiger seal )

Schwing!

Oil cooler just been delivered, 13 row with thermo plate!

SS lines looks tiny though :/

Anyone else get the kit from Andy? Were you lines too small/tight fit?

One of mine was way, way too long! :S

Is that a bit on the sandwich plate where a sensor can be mounted??
