Ok guys, so im thinking of doing this to the shed. Now the dents are out, she has potential! Im getting the 172 rear spoiler, 40mm springs & the rs grill. Along with all the colour coding (yet to do the door handles & bumpres)

Im In need of new front & rear bumpers as they are abit tatty in places & I like my cars tidy!

What to do? If I went down the 172 route, I want xenons but the headlight washers arent on mine, how would i get round this with the 172 bumper nipples? lol

How much we looking at for the 172 kit then? Sorry for all the questions, im new to modding Thanks guys

either put fake nipples in it (£11 from renault iirc) or washer blanks (£45 from renault iirc

Unsure about the price but in the for sale section/breakers youd pick up the bumpers

remember you need the front wings aswell to fit right

You would be able to pick up a full "kit" for about £400 if you sourced it carefully. You really need to be looking for some smashed up pearl black 172's so you don't have to mess about painting

I'd say it's really open tbh, as I got a full 182 kit for abit less than £200 quid. Some have been on eBay for ~£400!

Loads of people have had xenon's on their non sport Clio's and got through the MOT. Personally I'd just make sure it's clean (Which knowing you it will be) when it goes in, beams will be spot on then it you align them good enought at home. No light scattering everywhere I wouldnt see the problem.

Saw them on eBay, asked the old man to take me up to Blackpool in the discovery and afew hours later the lot was in the garage! All gone now I'm afraid, or I'd sort you out. Sold it all for £220 quid aswell lol!

dont bother with the xenons, leave the halogens in place and pretend it's a cup instead.

then you can keep most of the interior too

I think im going to go for the 172 rear bumper atm, do all the other little bits as i go. If i come across cheap 172 parts i may buy abit at a time.

you will need 25mm spacers for the front too.

Just take your time they do come up cheaply

With the front bumper dnt bother buying things from reno just fill the black of the bumper with fibreglass then when ur preping the front smooth it in with a little bit of filler thats what i did with mine looked smart.

If i was you though dawn i wouldent bother there massive money pits reps and never really look right u will always look at it and think thts not right i need this or that.

Better off just getting some nice silver turinis and some coilovers then just colour coding the front and rear will make it look really smart

Yep, totally agree Jimbo. I am worried it won't be perfect enough if i did do a rep! All I intend doing next is

Finish colour coding bumpers
Fit a 172 spoiler
Fit an RS grill (satin black)
Respray my exhisting wheels gloss black with yellow diamonds
Fit 40mm springs

Perhaps -

172 rear bumper &
Dynamique front bumper (Both bumpers are abit tatty)

I will try and dig out the pictures of my rep if you want ended up abit miss match was nice enough though i ended up putting it back to standard

List of mods sounds good should be nice!
RS grill resprayed looks so much better!
when i get my car back from paint Friday i will have a look in the workshop to c if i have any non sport spares you can have think most of it has already gone though
