172 Samco hose question

I'm getting a set of samco hoses for my phase 1 172 but everywhere (including samco themselves) list kits for 172 2002 onwards! Is there any differece between early and late cooling systems? I've seen phase 1s with hose kits so I presume they fit but I just want to confirm it?

I cannot think of any differences. Id also like to know if anyone can think of anything as this is on my list of things to do.

Done some looking around and rally designs have a kit for the 172 which they say contains 6 hoses and k tec say they're set only has 4, I'm so confused!

i think they are just counting the number of hoses differently mate

i think ktec class the large bottom hose with the 2 smaller ones coming off it as one pipe? whereas samco class that as 3 pipes?

i'm after a set aswell, but in white, i'm talking to tim (timsmeganer26 iirc) as he seems to be able to get these kits

I'm sticking with the black ones and the best price i've got is 186 delivered for a so called 6 hose set if we can group buy better then i'm in!!!!!!!!!
