172 stereo problems

Hi,

I have just finished installing a Pioneer DEH-P7600MP head unit in my 172. Since then, my automatic lights will not work??! Is this something to do with the "orange" wire on the ISO connector?? Also, is the sensor on the windscreen? Ive tried covering it with my hand, but this doesnt switch the lights on either :-( I dont want to have to go back to switching them on manually!!!!!!!!

PS The auto wipers still function OK...

Try checking the manual. I think you can turn the auto function on bay turning you car onto ignition (not starting it) and turning the lights on and off until you hear a beep. might work.
