172 Super 1600 Idea

would be pretty cool but youd need to use wheel spacers to widen the track coz of the wide arches.

And doesnt the kit cost like £2000?

Thestig, Ive been down this road with dogmaul. Its simply not costable. Yes you could buy the bodyparts, or use the Prima Racing kit, but then you have the wheels and chassis problems. The wheels need to fill the arche to complete the look properly, even putting 18s on it you cat get them to stick out from the car fair enough. Without using either a larger front subframe or longer wishbones, which then has the inherant problems of the drive shaft and steering back being too small. The larger front subframe from the Clio Super 1600 is also then designed for a 1.6 engine and not 2.0 and also the Sadev 6-speed sequential gearbox and not yours. And if your thinking of buying a Sadev, they are about £7,000.

Sorry. If youre wanting to make something different, why not go down the Clio Cup race car look.

Si.
