Maybe I'm trying to live in a perfect world here but shouldn't they get ALL the parts, then have your car in? Do you have to pay on the day you collect it or has the money already been paid? I'm sure it will all be fine once the parts come in, but it just makes sense to me to get the parts before taking a customers car.

  ITB'd GDI Original?
I can't decide if 13.3 is good or not for bb's turbo 172, although i believe it has full interior etc...it is a fast time.

Still no doubt a very fast car and top quality too. I'm sure yours will be ballistic too steve :D

just get yourself a set of micky t's drag slicks and youll be on for a good time, cheaper than lsd and will get you a better time if thats what your after

or if you wana cheat and be completly road legal use some old worn tyres with some gripper juice on em to soften them up ;)

if it does a sub 5 sec 0-60, i'd be surprised

13.3 @ pod was done FULLY stripped on track rubber (15's), Nick Read did the same time on 15's

don't get me wrong, BB's conversion is pukka, very well engineered, i'd consider buying it if i had a 172 but its not what i'm into for 2 reasons

1. its expensive, but if you ain't got the ££ then its not for you!
2. someone else is doing the work, i love to be 100% hands on in everything to do with my car but thats just me!!! (but BB are the only company i would let touch my car in all honesty, hope to see you on track BBPT!!!)

£7600! You’re not wrong there. You could get a super charger and upgraded engine parts for that, with the engine work - plus alot of change back.

I know a man in Harlow (that we all know of) that has developed a super charger for the 172 and 182….Mr Fish.

230 bhp – linear – no lag.

I know what I’d rather spend my money on.

Do you have any info on this supercharger conversion?
I have seen a german one, I think, made about 240bhp but only 180lb/ft.

I cant wait to see what this is like personally. Fair play for the investment it will be a seriously quick car.

  EK9 + Mfactory gearing..
^interesting to see the cost & torque figures on the sc conversion, tb's at £4kish & turbo at £7.6k, fishys website isnt up & running yet.
