172 turbo conversion by K-Tec

does anybody know when there demo car will be up and running & when they are taking bookings for the conversion? My cup needs turbo power

260bhp approx at mo. reckons 300 achievable but may be costly

There been a few threads on this topic

Costs about £6k all in but nothing for certain but it will be that give or take £400

You can buy the kit from the company in mexico which K-Tec are using for £3k to 3.5k depending on taxes shipping etc.

Its a big job to do ie lowered comp pistons etc plus you may want to upgrade the brakes to handle the extra speed. You may be looking at £8k for a full setup.

he reackons about £5500 with a padle clutch fitted as well. Uprated brakes will be required + Suspsion mods, complete package must be about 6,500
