182 Aluminium foot rest - talk to me

I was thinking £30 for a standard one and £40 for one with custom wording, how does that sound?

I notice most have a lip running down one side, is that necessary?
if not I could just get some 5mm thick ally and job done

I do CAD as part of my job, normally charged out to Network Rail at £35 an hour lol

fair enough, a good cnc operator will charge £40 an hour for machining, these footrest probably take around 2-3 hours

I'm only a technician, senior CAD guys in my place are charged out at £60+ an hour, silly money!

You want the "auto trace" add in for Solidworks* 2014. You do need to treat it as "auto trace then manually check/correct every line" but it certainly wouldn't take 90 minutes

It kept me busy for a while yesterday, I don't mind using AutoCAD but when some jobs at work require me to use Bentley Microstation I spit my dummy out!

sadly not, some nob has left an ebay case open against me, despite royal mails web site saying item delivered.

so I can buy the ally, once I get the ally I can make one of each just to check everything is ok.
