182 bonnet not closing after slam panel off

Hey everyone

I’ve had my slam panel off for ease of access. Now I’ve put it back on the bonnet won’t close! Is there a specific way to fit it?

I’ve had my slam panel off for ease of access. Now I’ve put it back on the bonnet won’t close! Is there a specific way to fit it?

There are two 10mm bolts for adjustment of the catch on the slam panel. It is also worth making sure the catch is well greased and moving freely. They do fail if not moving free and cause bonnet to come up when driving. Also check the cable has not got caught.or is seized.
