182 Bumper Part 2

Just picked it up. blumming brand new, still in all original packaging with all renault stamps and shiz on. Came with the lower grill and fog light caps also...

How much you reckon i could sell it for?

No one will tell me how much it will cost to make it fit my car without buying those silly wide arches. i just want it bent to fit

couldn't really bend it to fit, would probs need a lil sections cut off each end and attached back together either by plastic welding or fibreglassing it

To get any decent finish your talkign some serious money.
Bending it causes all sorts of problems.....

Miss alignment, risk of bolt snapping and bumper flying off etc.....
(its only plastic)

would echo this. have seen has' and its an absolutely perfect finish - undertray, arch liners all fitted properly - and that hasnt been cut at all to fit it, just reshaped professionally

its alot of money, but i think its worth it

why not get a set of arches from a rear ended 182? wouldnt that be easier?

It would probably work out cheaper to purchase wings etc. I wouldn't worry about your skirts, they only need a small section cutting out to allow them to fit the 172/182 wings.

It may seem a simple job but infact it isnt.... as mentioned in PM lots of work involved to get a spot on finish.

A simple bodge would take some doing..still a fair amount of work to play with if you want it done right.
