182 Coilovers HELP!!!!!!!!!

Please can someone who knows what they are talking about confirm what coilovers will fit a 182 WITHOUT CUP PACKS! ! I am looking at buying some but DO NOT want to have to f**k about modifying them in anyway. Some people seem to "think" that the 182 without CP is the same as the 172, but then some dont. If anyone knows for sure, or anyone with the same car as me with coilovers on please post a reply. its alot of money to get it wrong.

Tell me about it Thomas it is alot of money to get wrong and tbh if I were you I would go and measure your bolt spacing so you know whats correct and you know what you are looking for .. I ended up with FK coilovers that wouldn't fit my car because of wrong bolt spacing ..

where abouts on the suspension do i find the bolt spacing? I am considering H&R if I can get them to fit certainly. There are also a set of Ledas for sale, butthey are 172 fitments. Basically I am confused. I will try measuring the bolt spaces if someone can direct me where to measure

just rang K-Tec and they are sure its the same as the 172. Still want to measure the bolt spacing

the rule should be

182 not cup suspension = any 172 suspension inc cup, mrk1 and mrk2

182 with cup suspension = only 182 suspension will fit. no 172 suspension kits will fit




but renault could change them though so to double check.


wip a wheel off and you will see the bottom of the strut where it is bolted to the hub with two veritcal bolts...

messure the space between the two bolts. from the centre of each, this will give you the "bolt spacing"

Seen some Leda's FS on here for about £750.00. If not will get new H&R's or if my money wont stretch I may get slightly cheaper FK's.

^^ There was a guy on here selling H&R's iirc they were brand new and around that price .. being anal I would never buy second hand coilovers but loads of people do

no i dont like the idea of buying 2nd hand either TBH. I am sure those H&R's you are talking about are for cup packed ones
