182 Cup Mods

Very new to the whole modifying thing so can anyone give me some ideas and possibly pics of 182/182 cups. My 182 cup is completely standard and i've noticed that most people on here seem to upgrade suspension, exhaust, induction kit, etc.

If I were you I would:

- get coilovers, get them set up properly
- exhaust - miltek/yozzasport/BTB (very rare)
- Decat - bit of pipe so doesn't really matter which one
- maxogen induction kit if your rich, BMC CDA if your not.
- Matched inlets
- Then after all that get a remap
- Trophy wheels

that would cost you about 3-3.5k LOL
 
Wicked! Cheers for that. Without looking too stupid, what does the decat actually do other than fail MOTs?? LOL!!!

And what's matched inlets also???
 
breather mods. Getting an induction kit, matched inlets and decat helps the air flow, ultimately gaining a few extra bhp!! decat just replace the catalytic converter. Will make your exhaust louder!

I would also suggest silvervision indicator bulbs and maybe get the calipers, side badges and front renault diamond badge painted too. Nice little touch!!
 
Yeh havent got much cash at the moment s othats wot i'll end up doing. Just seen that my backbox's are rusting quite a bit!!! So reckon i'll need a new system soon.

Do i only need to replace backbox or whole system???

how many miles is that...mines a o5 on 17k :S yours isnt that great conditon to be honest..ive had a blueflame before - there nice ;)

So what should i do about my zort peeps???

How did you clean yours Paul. I remember seeing that you sprayed it but how did you clean it first???
 
just seen i gave you the wrong thread above doh!! mine really wasnt that bad...just wet and corse wet and dry and working my way to 1200....i dont think i would do it again tbh! it took abuut 3-4 hours and i had to wash my hair 3 times as i was black! and my car is like new underneath - going under yours i think i would change colour completly lol....your best bet is a blueflame or like 300 odd pounds will get you a nice shiny one!! i just didnt want to do that just yet what with mine still looks pretty good

Hmmm havent got that sorta cash just yet LOL, still paying for the car. Havent had it a week yet!!! LOL.
 
Seats were about £700 fitted, so nice! Massively improves the driving position (custom subframes, whereas recaro's just mount on the existing). 182 cup steering wheel misses out on the silver insert, but the wheels itself is smaller and the rim is thinner, so worth the sacrifice.

The zorst is defo gonna be first as I think mines on its last legs!!! :( Still a student in my last year tho so dont have massive amounts of cash. Whats a reasonable zorst to get??? Then I been told to go for ITG panel filter which seems like a cheaper option too LOL!!! I'm kinda attached to my anthracite 182 wheels for the moment....only had them a week hahaaha!!! But i do love the trophy wheels. As for the decat and inlets, thats defo a future mod. I guess it isnt worth having a remap before inlets and decat?!?!?

Sounds good mate, if I was to start over with mine I would have just a panel filter thinking about it. Exhaust and lowering is a must, will look and sound a lot better.

Aye, have custom remap after the engine/breather mods!!
