182 cup to 172 front hubs

  Clio 182
Hi guys I have a 182 track car which seems to have the 60mm front spacing hubs(when its not a cup car), what I want to do is change these to the 54mm spacing, hubs from my 172 road car reason is I have a very good suspension setup(coilovers) and want to put them on the 182 I have already changed the rears over today no problem. do I just change the front hubs over from the 172 to the 182 does everything else fit. any other things this will change??

thanks guys

I *think* you can just do the swap tbh. Just means altering your tracking as the cup packed 182 hubs have a different steering arm. Its slightly longer than the 54mm bolt spacing non cup packed hubs.

Bearings are larger diameter on the cup packed 182's. Driveshafts will be slightly longer as well, but that's because of the wider subframe wishbone mounts. They share the same track width as the 172 cup you see.
