182 engine whining noise with ignition on

Hi,

My 182 is making a buzzing sound, coming from the engine bay with the ignition on but not engine running, then stops with the engining on, is this normal?

yes its the throttle body motor.

Yeah that noise, goes away with engine on but carries on with ignition on. Is this something bad?

If you turn the ignition on, but don't start the engine you'll here the throttle body open and close. It's fine.

Thanks for the advice, never heard it before and when it didnt stop was a bit worried.

The reason I was in there in the first place as air con fan isn't working for a few minutes when the car is on...

The fan still isn't working for a few minutes when I switch the aircon on, it just does nothing for a while then works.
