182 Exhaust... b*****d thing is fucked again!

On the way home tonight, sat in traffic, it starts rattling like a bag of spanners...

This will be the 4th time in the 4 months I've owned her, and only 9k!

I'm not accepting anything less than a whole new exhaurst, front to back. Its been cut and fixed all over, not accepting another bodge!

I had the same on my 182. The first one lasted 9k. They fitted a new centre section but couldn't make the rest of the system fit as they had obviously cut it in the wrong place so I had an entirely new system. That a further 9k when I traded the car in.

The one on the Trophy has dropped in the last week and has also started to rattle when cold and vibrate at the usual 4k. It's done well though to reach over 17k miles.

Its standard... and shite. Thats why I can hear the BlueFlame calling. I just don't see why I should have to cough up for an after market when its only done 9k.

Thats what happened the last time, cut it wrong, and left my tail pipes not straight. I've spoken to RCS this morning and demanded a new system if this one needs another part. Taking it in first thing tomorrow.

Sorted now, no new part needed. The centre section had come loose, which was the bit they replaced last time. They have checked the whole system front to back, so hopfully this is the last time it f***s up!

I'll go aftermarket when she hits 12k after the service.
