182 Exhaust connector

My standard 182 exhaust was, like many, cut in half to remove it when upgrading to a stainless jobby.

Im told there is a joining pipe which you can buy from Renault to connect the 2 pieces back together... however my local dealer has never heard of it.

Has anyone got the part number to hand, i can't seem to find it on Dialogys.

does it come with both clamps or are they seperate? remember how much it was?

Mine was just a sleeve.

Put both sides of the pipe in and tighten up.

Was £15 or so..... Renault use it on all the models as it adjusts for size.


Kept it laying around if i ever went back to my origional which as yours was chopped.

you can remove the system whichout cutting it btw. you just need to fit it in your car to get it home

Think the 182 sleave is bigger thn the 172 unit. I'm sure the pipe diameter is bigger after the centre section. It certainly looks it

Turned out that when Janspeed cut the exhaust off the car, they welded a sleeve to one of the ends for me ready to be joined back together!

i hate f**king cowboys that chop the OE exhaust to remove them! it takes 10min to undo the 2 rear shock bolts and drop the rear axle!
