182 Exhaust help Please...

Hi Guys,
Could do with some help here. Due to crazy shipping costs i can't get the blueflame for my 182.:dapprove:
But there is a workshop here that deals with supersprint. My centre section baffler has gone and i'm rattling around like a tin can. I might be selling the car to my brother in August if my trip back home can't be done letting me buy a 182 at home. Now I don't really won't to spend 750 quid on an exhaust i won't have for very long. I've seen supersprint do this as a centre section OEM replacement...

Would this be able to fit straight in or would welding need to be done? The guy is going to try and find out for me but i thought i'd ask here too. So basically what i'm asking is can i simply take out the standard centre section and put this in in place? They also do this for the centre section:

you would have to get a sleave welded on to the back box pipework but apart from that i would'nt think there would be any problems

Yes i have warranty but i've got a decat fitted so my exhaust warranty is invalidated.
I'm speaking to the guy tomorrow,he seems a good bloke so hopefully should be able to sort me out with fitting it.

put the OE cat back on and take it back to the dealer??

i have a funny feeling that the SS bore is larger than OE, plus you'll have weld the ball joint end onto the pipe

Tried that mate but he's a being an arsehole and won't accept it. What bore is the standard so i can get the mm from the guy to make sure i dont order it and it doesnt fit. On the SS website it says 'direct replacement for OEM'. Does that mean it will fit?

Already made that loud and clear mate,lol. He's not budging and he's being about as helpful as a blind man for directions with my repair on my 182. Some people!!!!
I'll ring this guy tomorrow and see if knows the bore size...whats standard again???
