182 first service - anybody tried these ?

Found these on the net ages ago . Anybody used them or have any opinions on them ? Hell of alot cheaper than i've been quoted for my first service , average price of £200 . Its only an oil and filter change at the end of the day and checking all the fluid levels etc ....

Never used them tbh but shop around your local dealers, I paid £149 for my first service.

Yep that was including vat but was 26k ago for me and in Warrington, Arnold Shark.

Sounds like servicing prices have gone up £200 for a 12k service is a pish take I got my 36k and belt change for £250 at RENTEC

Your telling me . I can't see how they justify £200 ish for oil + filter change and checking the car over . But as it's still under warranty i would prefer it to go to Renault . After that i'll be looking elsewhere .

If you fancy a trip over to Leeds, pmurray @ RSTuning will do it. You don't have to take it to Renault just because it's under warranty.

^ 2 years or 12k, which ever comes first iirc.

^^^Mine is still under warrenty too until November but if I do have a problem between then and now I doubt they will check.

Mines only 2 weeks off being an 06 plate . Haven't done as many miles as i used to . Only 11k in 18 months , lol .

I know that . I just wanted it to serviced at Renault in case they find any problems then they can sort it there and then , under warranty hopefully

Once its out of warranty i won't be using them again .

Cheers Maz :cheers: Arnold Clark in Warrington want £176 incl VAT . I still think its alot of money just to change the oil and filter and a few other checks , but it's a damn sight less than the £220 quotes i've had from round here .

I thought it didn't have to be done at Renault as long as they use Genuine Renault parts?

It doesn't , but with it being its first service i wanted it to go into a Renault garage just in case they find any problems .
