182 Goodridge Fitting - Issues!

Replacing pads and fluid this weekend, all fine until we tried to connect the front goodridge hose to the brake line. The union that fits into the brake line and joins the goodridge hose has a different thread. all it means is that I need to buy a male/male union with the correct thread but is this usually and issue?

Thanks

You sure you've got the lines the right way round. Or are you sure youve got the right lines? Not taking the pee, just checking! Always the simple things I normally miss!

  Lots of Alfas
I have the Goodridge ones and didnt have this issue. Wasnt there a bad batch of goodridges with the wrong ends on or something? Try doing a search as Im sure there was an issue with them.

First thing I checked.

Male end of the hose goes into the caliper with the female end bolting onto the union and brake line. Unfortunately the union is slightly smaller one side so wont tighten.

Car did have 4 pots fitted before but I can't imagine they'd put the incorrect stuff back on....

Sure i remember reading somewhere about the threaded heads on the solid line deforming if too much force was used to remove them. Might be a reason as to why they wont fit.
