182 K-Tec exhaust noise

So, I fitted a K-Tec Super Sport exhaust a couple of weeks ago, with de-cat pipe and straight through centre section. Unfortunately, I must be getting old, as it's unbearably noisy on the motorway. So, had to order the centre section which arrived today. From tomorrow afternoon, there will be peace again. Strangely, the wife wanted to use the car all of the time? Apart from that, exhaust arrived quickly, fitted reasonably well and can't really fault the quality.

Will get two comparison videos up tomorrow hopefully.

I've got the sport (with centre silencer) and de-cat and its just right.

Mid 80's on the noise test.

What does the Original put out DB wise?

Im looking into getting a new exhaust but deciding over the milltek or KTR Super Sport. i dont want it too loud.

ive got the supersports with no centre silencer, but still got the cat on, had a decat on the old clio and got really bored of swapping them over for MOT's so i dont think i'll bother decatting the Trophy, sounds spot on when you plant your foot but nice and quiet on the motorways.

I put on a stealth with the oe cat, it's loud but for cruising on the motorway if you sit at 75 there little drone from it.

thats what i want nice sound but not chavy

seems like the milltek isnt worth the extra... the super sport is with out the extra silencer. is that right?

different exhaust but same problem. i fitted a scorpion one cat back at first witch i found just about rite, i then put a decat on it and now its way to loud for me. so now the cats going back on. i couldnt beleave the difference the decat made in noise.
