Yeh you'll need a link pipe. K-tec sell them for around £100 but i reckon you could get a custom job done cheaper.

k-tec's look alright but dont do the job
why?

1) front flange too thin cant tension spring enough
2) holes in front flange are too big , springs nearly pass through,
had to weld some small washers on to increase thickness of front plate and to stop springs pulling through
3) flanges out of align causeing front silencer to be rubbing against bottom of hand brake/ heatshield ~ cut and bend and weld up to suit.

aprt from that it looked good

Agreed, it's not a nice peice of kit, especially for the price. But this should be cleared up.
I know that each of these pipes is hand made so they could all be different, but this is what i made of mine.

1) front flange too thin cant tension spring enough - simply not true, see my guide
2) holes in front flange are too big , springs nearly pass through, had to weld some small washers on to increase thickness of front plate and to stop springs pulling through Not true although the decat/midsection holes are ridiculously large (solved with washers)
3) flanges out of align causeing front silencer to be rubbing against bottom of hand brake/ heatshield ~ cut and bend and weld up to suit. True, lambda boss out of line, but tbh just plug the hole with a bolt and leave the 2nd lambda out.

It's not a perfect fit but exhaust paste on the decat/midsection solved that. I suspect that every car is slightly different so a generic pipe is not ideal.
Custom pipe from an exhaust company (made to measure) would be better
