182 manifold on a 172

is this just a striahgt forward swap and what sort of price should i pay for the 182 manifold and where is best to get it from. Im guessing that i would see more power from it cooupled with a few other mods (im just thinking of ideas for FCS) Also is there any other work that can be done to the manifold that is worth while.

exhaust manifold your referring to?

182 exhaust is by no means "easy" to fit

the going rate for them is around £250-£300

fitting requires the subframe to come off, plus you need a link pipe making up so the manifold mates upto your existing 172 exhaust system

probably one of the "lesser" teams!

well its the biggest difference between the 172 and 182

power, who knows??

where the header pipes are welded to the flange, the internal joint needs a bit of tidying up

apart from that its fine
