182 Rear exhaust mounts

Need a pair of new exhaust mounts as my 182 tailpipes are hanging a bit lower then they should. Did a search and people said GSF or CES were good for cheaper parts then the renault stealers can provide (not up for paying 18+ vat for each mount).

Tried GSF and they don't have them for the 182 apparently, and CES denied all knowledge of any part except the genuine parts that cost the same as from renault.

Anywhere else I could try?

Put a bit of rubber hose in each of the holes in the mount and secure it with a cable tie!

Works a treat.

Selling the car so want it to look right, but don't want to spend loads of money, but also don't want it to be a bodge job!

Was toying with drilling a hole in the bottom, then tapping a thread into it and screwing a bolt in to hold up the sagging rubber....

OK, your idea sounds much quicker and easier.

Someone just pm'd me to say would I take offers....how much do you reckon my car is worth on an 04 plate with 41k miles, fsh, 12 month mot, and tax to Jan?

When i did it, i cut up some copper pipe and then pulled some rubber hose over the top.

I'd sell all the extras separately but you should be looking at around £6k to £6.5k. Quite a bad market at the mo tho.

How much u want for the wheel?

Would be tempted to sell the wheel seperately but I don't have the old one anymore to put back on!

I want to sell the car as it is aside from that as putting the standard suspension on with 15" wheels will look like I've got saucers on the car!

i bought mine from CES. iirc its the same mount used throughout the mk2 range so try again asking if they have mounts for a 1.2

edit - just dug out my invoice the part number listed is 420394 2/dw59
