182 remap

After driving K-Tec's 172 for a week with their remap on it, i'm pretty much sold on the idea of getting the 182 remapped.

What i would like to know is... the 182 still has warranty on it, so if it was to go in for warranty work, it it possible for Renault to wipe this map and put it back to standard?

I really wouldnt want to pay out for the map, only to have Renault reset it.

yes renault are able to wipe it clear , only if it is directly responsible for the cause of the problem .

Yeah if Renault where to ever reprogramme or even replace the Injection computer it'd get wiped. They 'should' ring you up before any work (warranty or not) is carried out and go "We've found the cause of the problem bla bla bla we need to reprogramme the injection computer"

Very rare they'd need to for any reason on a 182.
