182 revs high on tickover

Hi noticed this problem for the first time earlier I was in first gear in traffic all of a sudden it reved up by its self to about 2000 rpm then slowly dropped to normal then not long after whilst I was parked up in neutral it done it again the same but as it came back down it felt like it was going to stall. Any ideas to problem solving? Thanks Jamie

Sounds like a pedal related issue. Have there been any drive ability issues?

It's drives just like normal over the last few months I've noticed the biting point on the clutch getting slightly higher

That will have no bearing on the engines idle speed though. Is the high speed issue described above a constant fault or is it occasional?
