182 suspension issues

got a 182 its 3 years old on aug 11, so not much warranty left now.

the passenger side front suspension was making a right noise. only at slow speed, rattling, grinding, clunking etc...

renault chelmsford sad yep we will sort it not a problem. it came out sounding worse than when it went in.

been in again today and an engineer spoke to me, saying its dirt and stones, in the cup where to two springs meet??? (ive no idea)

just drivne home and its still happening.

can anyone help? what do i need to do to get this problem fixed?

Put something in writing, post it recorded so the issues documented and they can't try and puch it past the warranty.

Before you speak to anyone you should speak to the branch manager mate, explain to him that you have had your car in and that the problem is still presisting. Tell him you are prepard to go to Reno UK if they dont fix it.

Ill bet you a pound to a penny they do, and i doubt its a built up of dirt. This just sounds like a half arsed answer from another fine reno employee.

check its not your drive shaft, sounds like it could be if its making noise at slow speeds, if it is get it done under warrenty before renault rinse you of some serious cash

Says it all really! Mind you i have got a new key on order with them!

Have you tried Ren-O-Tec, just round behind Lookers in Chelmsford?

i hate chelmsford but as it 30 seconds to work it makes sense.

cressing is just out the way work wise for me
