I'm not really using it that much mate to be honest. Not doing many miles so it's an expensive toy sitting not doing very much. It's a superb car.

  53 Clio's & counting
After 14 172/182's you think i'd be fed up of them lol, but i'd still buy another (and no doubt will) - hey i've still got most of an Exclusive in my lock up lol

Great cars, I wonder if the 197/200's will have this much of a following once their prices dip a bit more?

So when you going to stop being a fag? Your car is awaiting ha

Haha! I've had quite a few offers so far! It's usually murder finding a good car especially a rare one, i'm spoiled for choice at the moment.

buy one gally the end! I have had two cups and never had anything go wrong other than general wear and tear and they are silly cheap to run for the power. I still miss the fun factor the cup was.

So chop it in for a Brera with Sky Roof.

At least then you know it's only sat there not doing much because it has no electrics.

Just remembered Trophies don't have Climate actually, doesn't actually matter to me, takes me ages to change the f**king temp just now in the TT, up .5 degrees at a time! Give me a dial to turn anyday!

Never bothered me mate. Just needs the wiper mod and a 172 half leather bench inside, and a 197 wheel. I miss the Cruise Control from my Trophy actually, never really realised how much I used it until I was on the motorway in the A500 yesterday!

It's still a Clio though, no matter what you say.

Just get a DCi 50, spray it red and stencil "Trofee" down the sills, no-one will notice and you get 90% of the real-world experience for 12% of the cost

;)

Yep, Mike (Jenic) also had one re-stitched in red too.

Yeah Mike's was Leather. Nice though.

Ohhh dyed sounds quite clever. If not covering the Blue bit wouldn't be a hassle, I know the guy who runs Transcal up here for anything like that.

I went leather as the suede wears really badly. I loved the wheel, finished off the Trophy nicely!

A set of Sportlines improve the ride no end Gally, standards/MF ones are too hard imho.

Re: BG, they are the sole UK importer for Sachs products and up intil Cornering Force started doing the refurbs, all the other suspension specialists suddenly had their Sachs supply lines cut when they started doing lots of Trophy's iirc ... CF would closely with BG on other things, do it hasnt happened to them. Yet lol

But, unless parts are required due to damage/scoring, then it's just seals/oil etc, which don't need to come from Sachs surely?

May as well get a 106d then?

I'd probably lose cruise due to the Sabelt wheel. Half leather bench is a must, quite a few have that mod. Some decent front mats also a must, just a few little bits, Xenons!

I've looked into 197/200 steering wheels. Wanted the Sabelt but it's a bit too 'boy racer' for me. Trying to find a headunit which looks OEM is fast becoming a nightmare too.

Definitely adjusters. If I had a pound for every adjuster I broke at work as an apprentice.

  le 205 GTI le trophy
i'm a bit late to join the conversation but my trophy makes the 205gti I had previously seem like a reliable car, problem after problem after problem - seriously considering getting rid of it. The last problem I had was a communication issue between the ECU and the body control unit (can't remember what it was called) to diagnose the fault and replace both cost just shy off £1000, then the rear shocks shat themselves on the way back from the garage and now the diff has had it. These are just the problems I've had in the last 2 months i've had so many other issues previous to this. Nice one Renault.

I would have thought it wouldnt be that hard to retrofit cruise to a different wheel TBH, although whether it could be done neatly enough to not offend your OCD is a different question, lol

Someone did it not so long ago iirc Chip. Made a backing plate type thing out of CF and attached the buttons to it.

Cool :)

got any pics?

You could probably use other buttons too TBH as I think they are just normal push to make switches not anything on the CANBUS but I might be wrong.

Plenty of people have done it actually, and it dosen't look too bad.

You'd have to get the Sabelt retrimmed in red. Blue would look silly in a T ;)

Of course mate. I mentioned that earlier. Would like to keep the CC if I can of course. We'll see. Sadly seen one I like before selling the TT. Grrrr!

If you're seriously considering selling the TT, for f***s sake Kev just do it. Lol! never known someone to procrastinate so much over selling cars! Remember the FRP? Took you over a month to write the advert/autobiography.

Buy a Trophy so I can flog you Trophy spares x
