182 Wheel Brace

Just got back from the stealers, after quite an arguement managed to get my snapped wheel brace replaced under warrenty. Just hope they provide the correct part to fit my existing kit, as its not a 'stock' item got to wait for a delivery!

My friend took her saxo to ATS and they put the wheels on that tight her wheel brace broke. They argued that they tourqued it up and never over tighten them. So i told them to undo them for her. They apologised and got her a new brace.

Most places over tighten your wheels . The first thing i do when i get home is crack em open and torque em back up .

Just a thought, I tighten my wheels up quite tightly without a torque wrench, will this do any harm?????

National Tyres put me wheels on that tight, i could not get them undone with the tools provided in the car. I was standing on the thing and its not very well now, took a neighbour with his took kit to get the things off.
