182 With a few subtle mods....

Car  Liquid R27 067/500
Just thought id post up a few pics of my recent modifications to my clio 182!

Firstly replaced the Cup spoiler for the V, fitted a Simota Carbon Aero form intake, and have just finished fitting the rear Eibach sportlines (fronts still to do at a lter date, ran out of time!!)

Didnt think the sportlines lowered a great deal at the rear compared to the standard cup set-up, well not as much as i expected, might change a bit once the fronts are fitted too!

P.S. I know, it needs a wash! :rasp:

yeh make soo much difference but pics dont do it justice!

does it look like the back is sitting low enough Iain? As i remember you have the same springs, yes?

You can move it around quite a lot, but i just fitted it as pictured in the instructions. Just sitting on the edge of the rubber. Did have a bit of jiggery pokery to do bending the bracket! Might have another go at squaring it up a little:)

Cheers Fletch and everyone else. The more i look at it the more i think the back end should be lower though, no!!?? am i just being paranoid because i did the job myself? lol

Any pics of other 182's with sportlines fitted to compare?

nice, love that filter, i had them springs fitted on my cup and imo didn't lower it at all, although handling was tightened up no end, i ditched them in favour of some h&r coilies

Remember i havent done the front yet though, and also still on 16's.

Car looks much better with the wheels in the second pic ;)

Thanks for that Gaz. You should hear the noise between 2-3k, Burble burble burble :) lovely

Liking the air filter matey, looks very swish! :approve:

I want one, but at 200 notes, i'll keep dreaming. Really like the whole look of the car, very tastefully done.

:)

Thanks dannyboy, trying to keep it as standard looking as possible, and one the exhaust system goes on, and the front springs fitted, that'll be it.
Cosmetic wise................

there is a gap in the grill ali - it aint big but should feed quite a bit of air in - only thing I would worry about is water going through the grill when it rains on to the filter

nice, did the spoiler need any mods to fit it, like the boot struts or was it ok.

u do need struts or if ur careful and remember ul be fine (40 odd quid a side for the correct struts).

Looks nice mate, sportlines will only lower it marginally from what i've seen of other pics. That air filter looks trick!! Frigging huge, lol.

Nice work

where did u get the filter from?

Got the filter from a company called XS performance who specialise in BMW tuning. For the best price you have to call them direct here's there website for you, www.xsperformance.co.uk but it doesnt show any Clio parts on here.

Thanks for all the comments guys

Our new website will have Clio stuff on it as I'm looking to buy one at the moment:D . If there is enough interest I can set up a group buy.

Looks nice. Is the filter inside foam or paper?

P.S. You got any side-on pictures of the car to see the carbon door pillars better?
