But i prefere the stealth approach and tbh twin exhausts have been done to death

I prefere the 172 over the 182 for that

I've been in a 200 and own a 197 - No difference at all

Renault chucked the go kart feel away after they designed the mk3 range.. 172/182's feel so much faster.. I had my 182 for 3 years and never got bored of it yet 6 months in on owning my 197 i'm bored as tbh

Stuck on spoilers from halfords are in the same league as slamming your car, pointless and chavy.

The 197 looks naked without a spoiler. Without them they do look fat and overweight +1 to whoever said that!

Rossy this will be the second one i havent seen!!

I agree the cup spoiler is not to everyones taste and probably isn't ideal, BUT, it needs something there to finish the rear off. Looks far too plain and boring without.

Thats my point, i upgraded to the cup spoiler cause its miles above the 1.2 spoiler like you said, but if it looked anyway near how the 197 cup spoiler look then i would steer well clear, as i don't want to be a contradictive *insert word* like most.

I can GUARANTEE that if the cup came with the ktc spoiler and the 197 cup spoiler never existed, and then some one put a 'looky likey halfords' spoiler on their 197, they would get slated to high heaven, standard.

My view - my 197 looked unfinished and utter pish without the cup spoiler so when ordering my 200 it was the first thing on the options list,its a marmite spoiler so who gives a feck either way

Um...no it's not...My car is lowered by 35mm but it isn't slammed is it. Slamming is a form of lowering taken too far.

spoiler looks pap, as do the add on side skirts and front lip. I wouldn't want them if i had a 197, to 9 out of 10 people they will think 'chav boy racer' imo.

they should have done a spoiler like the old cup one, without the cup spoiler on the 197 it looks like an authentique spoiler from the clio 2.

I have the cup spoiler as tbh i didn't know about the other types of spoilers that were available, i bought my 197 used and had the cup spoiler fitted before collecting the car.. I dont care what anyone says it tidy' sthe rear of the car up ten fold

197's look utter pap from the back with no spoiler, its looks are pretty much like an overweight dynamique without

Although the red 197 looks great, I think I much prefer the look of the GT spoiler from Renault, the Cup spoiler is too ill fitting and ruins the lines of the car IMO.

So, how much do I need to pay for a GT spoiler on my 200?

Well when theres a thread with a clio thats ill-modified, everyone pounces on it. So im going to pounce on a factory spec'ed ISSUE.

What does it matter if i dont own a 200 or 197, I don't want to spend 10 k + on a clio.

AND if i did, it would look like SteBurns.

Post 73 and post 74 is a bloody good comparison too. ILL-fitting cup spoiler to a decent fit on post 74 !

only decent one out of the lot of them that doesnt scream out boy racer is the elia one.

nice and subtle and finishes off the back end exactly as renault should of done.
