197 F1 Team or newer 197 cup?? what would you go for???

i have a 172 cup but fancy a 197 next, just dont no which model to go for :S

the F1 edition were all made in 2007 (500 made) but i can get a 58plate 197cup for same price with lower milage and recaros, and the cup spoiler which i think every 197 should have, looks way smarter!!!!!

whats the actual differences between the cup spec and F1 edition?? think powers the same??
they both have stiffer suspensions,
cup has the spoiler which is better!!
both can come with recaros

i just dont no which one to go for, a newer cup or the older f1 edition and add the spoiler myself.

what do you people think???

I went for the F1 with full cup trim as its more exclusive and should hold its value more.

Main differences are the F1 plaque, decals and rear privacy glass, extra speakers, nicer dash I believe.

tbh you cant go wrong with either imo!

full cup trim?? does that include the cup spoiler?? i no i would get carried away and put the ktec balck front splitter and black side skirts on it aswel,
i seen a silver f1team with all this and the spoiler and it looked amazing!!

How much different is the dash, iv not been in either yet or even driven them

i no they aint as quick as the 172cup because no RS clio is and thats fact but that only comes down the mili seconds so nobody would even notice

I got a GW Cup with Recaros/speedlines

Dash looks the same but is hard plastic (not soft touch) Other than a few touches its 99% the same. Only pain for me is no cups 197/200 have an outside temp gauge, very annoying!

nice car, love them in white, blue and silver, just needs the black ktec side skirts and front splitter lol,

bit to over priced for me though,
iv been offered a 07plate 197 F1 team with 34,000miles for £8,000
or a 58plate white 197 cup with 33,300miles for £8,500

either way iv still not made my mind up and these cars are popping up everywhere lol.

For me, the Recaro's are the deal breaker.

I wouldn't have a 197/200 without them.

So if they both have the Recaro's I'd probably go for the newer Cup over the R27. However, the R27 has done less miles per year. So depending on Servicing and Condition too. I wouldn't be annoyed with either TBH. Go and look at both. I'd get the one which is in the best condition with the best history (Although I'm presuming they both have been serviced regularly and on time!).
