197 gearbox into 172???

My gearbox is on its way on on my 02 172. I was thinking of putting the new 197 gearbox in if it is possible. i know the new box is techtonic and just wondered if it would work in my car?

Cn be made to fit but not diferct.

Swop the B/E from the 197 or make an adapter to match plus need to make it fit the hole in the gearbxo and make the mounts.
