197 home-made sound lol

just tried something I did on most of my cars once or twice..

Open the filter box and remove the cover... and drive like that.
The sound is AAAAMAAAZING! a lot like a VR6
very deep and "roar"-ish...
especially around 3000 rpm.
Yes, I know the filter is exposed to hot air, but the sound....it's all about the sound.
I wonder does the k&n apollo kit sound better?]

and will driving like that do any harm to the engine? I don't see how it can, cause the filter is still there..

The air filter, he didnt take it out completely he just detached the tube thingy from the engine if that makes sense? lol

I personally don't think a sound is that important. If it increased performance then I'd be impressed.
