197 insurance

If you were to insure a 197, would you have to declare any options? i.e. recaros, cup pack?

or would you just insure it as standard 197 as it is on most websites?

nope it just complicates things, eg they class the suspension etc as mod. Else where would you stop, technically mine has got tinted windows but I had it as factory option.

I suppose as it is a factory option, so comes from the factory like it is (if you had options) then you dont really have mods, like they class mods anyway.

Mines has tints, cornering lights and 6 disk cd/radio. Its insured as a standard 197. Its not an R27, as they did ask, so they obviously know about them.
