197 NOISY BRAKES!!

Hi when I apply the brakes on my 197 there is a low-level rubbing/catching noise coming from the rear, has anyone else had this problem?? Or noticed? It almost sounds like the rear brakes are worn down, but its just had its first service!?!

anybody?

Is the car brand new??

If so there is a very common issue where the brakes make a very loud noise at usually very slow speeds (3 - 0 mph, i.e. when pulling up to traffic lights) with very little pedal pressure being applied.

If this is the case, it fades eventually, in most case usually between 500 - 1000 miles. Try some heavy breaking.

I've got this on mine, still there at 10k miles! Going to Renault next week though to get it sorted + a few other things.
