I'm running a R27 at the moment and the seat height (in it's lowest position) is seriously winding me up, I need to lower it. I had hoped I could live with it and if not it would be an easy swap to a low profile subframe but a quick look and an email to Recaro and it's seems that's perhaps not the case.
Has anyone attempted to tweak or remake the subframes to lower the seat? I'm looking for a good inch or two (oo err missus) lower I reckon, if not any recommendations on alternative seats which I could use low profile subframes on, did I read somewhere that Trendlines with the Trophy subframe would be lower? Not sure if a) that's true and b) would work in the 197.
