I'm hoping it will release the potential of my BenR manifold (whatever happened to him) and GroupN ecu. I've allways been a hopeless optimist.
It's what keeps me young at heart. lol

Thats what hopfully will be my next mod as i still have the older inlet not the RS logo'd one so apparently i should have more to gain with this done???

The Maxogen mate. As you probably know , they claim 7bhp on their web.
I couldnt really say atm mate not fitted as of yet but i will certainly test it my own way(without rollers)hehe
Tbh im really happy with the way my car is runnin atm quite effortless i think alot of it is the decat makes it rev alot more freely

A up justin, yeah its defo changing abit also got a brand new cup spoiler ready for spraying so that should tidy the back end up as i could never work out why they put a black 3rd brake light on when the others are red??

I'm a blind c**t me. You ran out of light and did'nt fit it. Tell us tomorrow.
Hehe, yeah mate not enough light and i thought you would just take the old box out and fit new,i wish!
It tells you first to take the front left wheel off then arch liner and take the solenoid out(acoustic valve)than i think you have to move the battery for the trumpet to fit through in between the battery and the metal bar otherwise you will scratch f**k out of the carbon oouch not good so all in all a bit more work than undo old and bolt new

After all that shenanigans we'll be right scunnered if the motors do'nt go better. lol

  VRS
all you need to do is undo screw the bolt which holds the battery rail fella, then you can lift the rail and slide the maxogen trumpet in place :) it literally take 5mins to fit the maxogen.

taken the acoustic valve out will take a little longer though lol, although you dont need to do it straight away, you can run the maxogen with the acoustic valve still in place.

one tip i would give you is dont connect any cold air feed directly to the maxogen, instead have the feed supply air to the 'airspace' behind the headlight where the maxogen trumpet draws the air in :D

ja.jack: i rekon like all induction kits, the claimed bhp gains air a tad optimistic lol, compared to the viper i had, i found the maxogen to be quieter, and a lot smoother! i felt i got a few flat spots with the viper pre 5k but the maxogen helps the motor to pull smoothly across the whole range

Thanks mate, the info will help me shave a few minutes of fitting time, wasnt going to connect any caf up just like you say leave the trumpet just behind the headlight,
I might fit the maxogen tonight and maybe take the acoustic valve out another time?

i would do if i were you fella :D as i said you can get the maxogen on in literally 5-10mins and then worry about the acoustic valve another time :D
