1st service prices??

hi guys

my mum has just booked her car in at Renault Slough for its first service,its a 1.5dci dynamique

cost £245

i thought that was crazy money,i am gonna ring round tomorrow at work and hopefully save her a few quid

just wondered what everyone else has paid for a 1st service

btw she wont go to see Mike at Rentech cos she doesnt like to drive lots of miles bless her

i paid £130 for my first 12k service on the 182, at my local renault garage

I live halfway between a Renault dealership and a renault garage... the dealership wanted £205..

reg vardy in leeds want £189.95 for a 12k service on a clio


i know from someone on here that all of the parts for the service come to something like £80.75 but can't remember who quoted the price, or what has to be changed, might be in the sticky on the mechanical page

£50 for my first service .... wasn't from the renault either!
Dont worry though I havent voided my warranty,
all the air/oil filters and other parts were replaced with OEM parts direct from renault and the people that did the work are officially recognised in the motor trade.

Best £50 quid I ever spent! (well, apart from the nice street cornering lady a couple of years back) lol

Maximum you should be paying is about £200

Lewis Read in Birkenhead I got it on discount though I think.
Wouldn't trust them to actually do anything, they were cheap though.

done a quote online and Slough is quoting 206 so thats 50 quid off what they quoted her earlier !!...£135 at crewe i go up that way to stoke a bit so will be worth taking my mums car next time and getting it done there
