my 1.2 is due for new brakes.. iv got some 2.0L drilled disks off a mate.. im just wondering if it would be a straight swap.. or would i need bigger calipers?

I don't know exactly but I think the disk for the 2.0L is bigger so you would probably need bigger callipers or adaptors.

I'd go with what Sam has said. Unfortunately I don't think its going to be as simple as just putting on a bigger disc. May even need to go as far as swapping the hub as well??

It's not gonna be cheap mate. Probably kill the brake balance for MOT as well unless your converting the rears as well?

You would need the 172/182 Hubs for the calipers to mount to, but they wont fit your 1.2 driveshafts or shocks. So you'd need new suspension and driveshafts before you could even think about fitting the calipers..
