my 1.2 is due for new brakes.. iv got some 2.0L drilled disks off a mate.. im just wondering if it would be a straight swap.. or would i need bigger calipers?
I'd go with what Sam has said. Unfortunately I don't think its going to be as simple as just putting on a bigger disc. May even need to go as far as swapping the hub as well??
yeah, i expected to change to a bigger caliper, any idea of where to get an adapter? was told it will be ££££ coz they have to be machine made apparently?
You would need the 172/182 Hubs for the calipers to mount to, but they wont fit your 1.2 driveshafts or shocks. So you'd need new suspension and driveshafts before you could even think about fitting the calipers..
