right, some of you may have seen my current euro project : http://www.cliosport.net/forum/showthread.php?592800-The-sexy-mercedes-pearl-respray-clio

the time has come to make a change under the bonnet! an F4R conversion is nothing special, im thinking about a 2.0T laguna engine conversion? not for power, mainly for as the car just needs more pulling power and i want a front mount intercooler and a flutter valve :)

Has this been done before? iv spent 10mins searching on here and havnt found anything worth while??

like i say its not as im makin a track sl*g its purely to look good, with a SMOOTHED ENGINE BAY and a front mount intercooler

i have access to some workshops so working through the night isnt a problem :)

What kind of a job is it? ECU's wiring gearbox issues? oh and before the keyboard warriors start - i dont care about time or money

  Whichever has fuel
They are six speed boxes on them so i'm 99% sure the box wont fit.

Why don't you go down the turbo/supercharged route?

You could always use the 225 engine.

But tbh, you should just buy a faster car imo

I have faster cars :) its just a showcar, basically just to promote the business, the bonnet will probly never be opened again and it wont be drivable fast as its too low lol, but obv it just sounds better to hear its had an engine conversion other than a f4r

Anyway back on topic.

IMO not worth the hastle of trying to get a slower or not much more powerful engine to work. Better offf buying a turbo 172 and swopping engines or turboing your with a low pressure kit if your just after an intercooler and BOV.

Search Clio TT, see if you like what you find.

Seriously though, good luck with it and do a decent project thread... if you search properly you'll find some good results as it's been discussed quite a lot in detail :)
