200 Cup at a good price!

Think im gonna go ahead and get myself a 200 cup! Spoke to a dealer today and can get it with;
Red with Black speedline alloys, black bumper, wing mirrors package etc. and recaro's
Price is 12600 quid, with frist reg and full tank of petrol!

Got my 182 cup but not sure what to do with it would like to maybe make it a track car, or better off with a 172 ph1 or ph2!

So what you think.

I was quoted £15k is for a 200 with metalic paint, cup pack and recaros. Very tempted but it's a fair whack.

I'd think very carefully about the Recaros unless they have improved the trim. It's virtually impossible to get in and out without at least brushing the bolsters. Mine have leather trim around the edges, and even then I'm s**t scared they'll look shabby as f**k in 12 months.

See, this is the kind of thing that f***s me off about Renault. They know full well that those chairs are not fit for purpose. Yet rather than improve the materials, they just keep charging extra for them, knowing that they're likely to be broken in less than 12 months. They really are clowns sometimes :dapprove:

Especially when they had the 197 as a testing ground. The problems with the Recaros were made clear on the 197, yet they still continued onto the 200, and like you say - still not fit for purpose!

It's a shame really as they are wicked seats and make the car much better imo.

My 'chairs' (well drivers one) come complete with a tailored cover which got whipped off as soon as i got it back home. lol

Some dealers will replace them. Others ignore you.

Yeah they could have, but they didn't. That was kind of my point.

This is true, but its a much cheaper option than retrims when the seats are out of warranty. As I said, my recaro's survived me for a year and I'm 6ft3 clumsy and I'm pretty f**king far from skinny... Maybe I had a decent pair of Recaro's?

Agree about the Recaro issue, but Renault replaced mine and my car has 45k on the clock.

I've specced recaros on my new car , but there in leather so hopefully should be free of wear
