not really as he has clearly not been able to set it up working properly hence 'needs abs sensors'.

the abs was working, one of the cv gaters went and covered the sensors in grease. it ruined the sensor

Speedo decided to stop working about a month before the MOT (will still pass) (my grandad works for renault and it could of been caused by me changing the cd player (needs a standard renault cd player) or it could be the ABS Sensors which went about the same time as i changed the CD Player. So im not 100% sure which of those it could be.)

Ok. So around the same time; an ABS sensor, which incedentally is what the speedo is connected to, breaks and you fit a new CD player.

Then the speedo stops working and your grandad says it could be the CD player?

What's not funny tbh.

i think there's a wire behind the stereo which if broken will stop the speedo from working honestly.
