360 market place - again

Just need a little bit more help on this.

recently brought a laptop, and havin the internet put in on friday.
my laptop is wireless enabled,im planning on having the wireless router placed downstairs.

Now to download upgrages does my xbox have to be connected to my laptop or to the router as im getting confused,as you can tell im not too cluded up on things like this

you could use ICS and connect through your laptop.

my link above, stick it in the usb port on the back of the 360 then go into the network setting on the 360 and it should detect the router automatically. If you've password protected your network then you will need to enter the password on the 360 so it can connect...

don't worry, I was as bad as yourself at first but it's really quite simple...

just a thought....why not look at the all the literature that came with your 360, which tells you exactly what you need, how to connect it and where to get it from.. :S
