lookin to spend 450 - 500 ish on console and games..

defo gettin live and test drive, but whos got the best deals on the consoles etc etc

most places do the same deal to be honest....about £350 for premium pack extra wireless controller and a couple of games....HMV, Virgin, Woolworths, GameStation, Game....all the same just varients on what game comes with it...

I've never been a fan of wireless controllers either but the 360 wireless controller is absolutely fantastic, there's no delay at all and you can get the recharger packs for them which means you can still play and charge at the same time!! Result!!

I'd get it from www.xbox-entertainment.co.uk mate. You can get one pre modified with the latest firmware from there so you can play backups, only if you own the originals of course wink wink

it will have no warrenty if its been modded. Also be prepared to get banned from live.

Yeah its just the firmware on the dvd drive that is modded, nothing else is done to the console. Yeah they do come with a warranty, forget how long the site offers it for though, take a look on there. Had two mates purchase 360's from there pre modded, all sweet!!

You'll get a wireless controller with the premium pack anyway and I'm sure you'll like it once you've tried it. It works every bit as good as a wired controller and can be connected with a wire if you buy the play and charge kit.
