36000 mile service!

Hi,

Ive just booked my MkII 172 in for its 36000 mile service with my main Renault Dealer...anyone got a rough estimate for how much its going to cost me, I know its going to need brake pads all round and I believe the 36000 service is a big one!!

hi there matey - its going to be quite expensive im afraid to say. In my 36ker they changed the alternator belt (check your manual/service book it needs to be changed), required removal of front bumper and takes them ages=£££££. Also its a major service as you say and brake pads fitting isnt cheap. Id say quite a bit above £300........sorry to be the bearer of bad news...I gave all my service history with my car so cant give you exact figs, try a search on 36k services in here, im sure i posted about it!
