What operating system? There can be upto 1000 difference between XP and Vista, XP being quicker. I am on Vista x86 Ultimate.

I can't believe I have beaten both of you with a lesser GFX card, u lot must not know how to set ur pcs up

Mine's on Vista X64 so that problem doesn't help, and it is the first time that I have overclocked. Vista is a standard install, so has all the memoy hogginess stuff still on.

Vista x64 tends to be quicker on some systems, but there isnt that much difference.

I will post a URL when I get home tonight or if not tomorrow night when I get home!

By the way my CPU is at 3.4ghz not 3.8ghz.

Could be because my g card will outperform your @ those resolutions mate. I'm running vista 64 ultimate. What are your 'on load temps' btw?

06 is very heavily swayed by the CPU. You'll get better gains from increased CPU speed than you will increased GPU speed. In fact I found my score barely increased when changing from 2x 8800GTS512 to a gtx295, but game performance certainly did.

IMO 06 doesn't really have much use anymore with current hardware and technologies. Still fun to mess with though I suppose. Games are where it's at though.
