4 inch exhaust

been offered a 4" exhaust off my mate, is a custom piper and hes not even put it on his car its totally new. asked me for like bout £20 for it! hes old his car for a 2.0 litre nova hahahaha

my car is a 1.2 u think the backbox would b ok on my caR? any problems?

oh and how much more insurance do u reckon it would b? im with endsleigh, they r class!!!

Is it a clio back box youve been offered? It should be fine if it is. Ive got a 4" inch tailpipe on my 1.2 and its fine. You may get a bit stung on the insurance though, they are cheap but not too modification friendly (in my experience anyway).

I just stuck a couple of picks in the Bad Girl Spoiler thread in the exterior part if you wana have a look. Sorry they arent that great! Ive got 15" BK 604 wheels, bad girl spoiler, tinted windows, williams seats, delocked and various interior bits. Hoping to get it lowered at easter and then start some serious modding in the summer, when ive got some money!! Im a student at Loughborough at the mo. You done much to yours? Got any pics?

So far its got new fox 1 16 inch alloys with crystal paint finish with 195/45/16 semperit wheels, richbrook black aerial (not on foto) m4 mirrors with indicators, pioneer deh3400r headunit, pioneer 250 w 6x9s, front 5.25inch alpine components, pioneer 10" sub powered by XS 300w amp, momo f16 carbon fibre gear knob, momo carbon fibre pit stop handbrake handle, chrome gear surround and leather gaitor on gear knob, momo leather gaitor on handbrake - soon to be done, red calipers (paint bought waitin for it not to b rainin!), new exhaust and various bits of colour coding to the exterior.

ur motors nice, appreciate the tinited windows, thats a job i want - how much!?

how easy were the seats to put in??

wen summer kiks in im hopin for some nice new suspension but well see!! i doubt it!! lol nice overdraft!

Nice mate, like the spec! I love the tints, one of my favourite mods for sure. Cost £180 done professionally at Ultara window tinting in maidstone. Well worth the money in my opinion. Im doing retail management at Lboro, in my second year now. Your degree must be pretty tough, respect though! Seats were pretty simple really because they were a straight swap, much easier than a universal subframe!

Know what you mean about the overdraft!!

looks mint mate tints will have to b done on the white boy soon but i spose iv got other things to consider, but tints look the dogs!!

Ive had it nearly a year now, spent most on it over the sumer, only really got the spoiler done since ive been back at uni - so bout £200 plus bits here and there. The insurance is the killer, gotta renew soon too!

ur not kiddin i paid £667 for my insurance with endsleigh, all mods declared and my exhaust is costin me 15 on top of that, they do discounts for NUS, u wanna give em a try, jus go in and tell them th best quote u had, the first quote i had at adrian flux was 918 and eventually ended up bein 667 at endsleigh!! and i live in bham, gun capital of the world as the press make out!!

Yeah i will try them then, that is pretty reasonable for the exhaust, i was under the impression they hated mods. My area isnt too bad either, so hopefully it shouldnt be too bad. Im not sure about the summer. Im either gonna go a bit wild with this car or (probably more likely) i wana get a valver. I need some more speed!! What about you?

well i cant afford the insurance on a valver an alarm is a definate must as my cars startin to need one big time. Other than that colour coding on interior and exterior and now uv told me how easy it is to do, 16v or wiliams seats, mite go for suspension but doubt whether its worth it, oh and definately an induction kit but thats a bit of a b*stard cus thats one thing endsleigh hate!!

Hello mate, sorry to interupt just wondering. Do you find that the bad girl spoiler is abit too much for the 15 " wheels? Mine has 17" wheels and with the flared 16v archs I thinking whether the spoiler would be abit too much for it? I dont want it looking like a trolley.

Cheers Patty! Yeah, ive thought about getting a kit, cant decide between speed and style at the moment,

16v_er i know what you mean, but it does look fine in real life. The photos dont really do it justice. I think on a valver tho it would possibly be too much, i said this to someone before i think. There is enough about the valver already, and it may look a bit extreme. Have you checked out the alien spoiler? That looks mint of a valver. Anyway its all about personal choice.

yeh i prefer style cus its less on the bloody insurance!!
