406 Brembo Phase1 and 2 difference's ?

I got hold of a set of 406 brembo calipers.
My mate (uses these on his mk1) is telling me that there are two different versions of 406 coupe's out there.
One wich fit directly on a mk1 and one with some more space between the mounting holes.

But on google i cannot find any information about two possible versions (phase1 and phase2).
They are from a 2.2 hdi from 2002.

The mk1 lads normally use the V6 ones, no idea what they are the same as or not though.

Had a 406 coupe hdi with these brakes, constantly squealing! Give them a proper good going over before fitting or they'll squeal straight away.
Pretty sure all brembo on 406 coupes are the same, changed to Lucas in late 2002 (they didn't squeal!!)

Yeah I have some fiat ones knocking about and they are nowhere near the same as mk1 calipers.

Yeah im going to give them a good clean and spray them red with the correct paint.
Found someone who can help me out with the brackets.
